Proven theory and training in the design and conduct of face-to-face and virtual groups led by teleconference.

• We believe that every coach training program should provide group coaching skills and offer a practicum on coaching groups. (Always ask if they do this.)

• Not every student wants to learn to lead coaching groups. But if you do, we are unsurpassed at teaching you how.

• Special focus on virtual groups led by teleconference with participants from throughout the US and internationally (anywhere with a phone)

• Special advantages--you can serve many more people; it's less costly for group members; (and you can earn much more per hour)

• Overview of all the different types of groups

• Exactly how to structure your group time, minute by minute

• How to lead a coaching group and the option of leading your own--where we supply the clients

• The MentorCoach™ Group Coaching Practicum.

  • The group practicum experience is totally optional. You should know, however, that many students consider it to be one of the coolest parts of their training. Everyone is scared before the group starts. Everyone feels exhilaration when the group is done! But participation is totally up to you.

  • The One Hour Practicum. You will have the option to design and lead a coaching group either alone or with a partner. This will be a one-hour teleconference group. We will show you exactly how to structure this group. And we will supply the clients from MCP students in your class and from the larger MCP Community.

  • The Six- To Eight-Week Practicum. You will also have the option to lead a six- or eight-week coaching group where we will supply the clients from our list of more than 8000 graduate students.
