THE POSITIVE PSYCHOLOGY IMMERSION MASTER CLASS PART ONE (North of Neutral)
Chris Peterson, Ph.D.

Join us for a two-month immersion in Positive Psychology with Chris Peterson, widely considered to be an extraordinary, master teacher and one of the seminal figures in the field. Positive psychology is the scientific study of what goes right in life. This course will cover the deep heart of positive psychology, including its applications and interventions, through lectures, readings, extensive, original notes, and out-of-class exercises.

The class is intended as an immersion experience for accomplished professionals who want to significantly deepen their understanding of the field and those who are relatively new.

It will be relevant to those who want to present on, teach on, consult on, and coach in positive psychology and want to know the newest, most effective approaches for connecting with the public and with decision makers.

Part Two of the Positive Psychology Immersion Master Class is Applications in Action that is taught each fall. For graduates of Fall, 2007, Applications in Action, this class, Part One will supply the deep history and background of the field that is necessary for full mastery.

The class will reflect Chris' unique vantage point gained from both years of experience, research, writing, teaching, and his constant communication with the world's leading researchers in this field.

The class will reflect the state-of-the-art in theory and research circa 2008. It will be based on the rich, deep river of knowledge in Chris' new textbook, A Primer in Positive Psychology. And it will be based on newly published and just breaking unpublished research in the field as well.
